I Hope The Liquor Store Is Well Stocked
i will be immersed in puppies and boxes this weekend. my goddoggies, joyful and splendor will be spending a glorious 24 hours with us as mel and britt go to hotlanta. during those 24 hours i will be be sucking on a bottle of jack daniels, packing up the house, and yelling at cooper and splendor to knock it off because it is totally annoying when they run around the house like wild heathens.
we are closing on the new house in less than 10 days. i cannot explain to you how absolutely ecstatic and how miserably stressed i am. during a normal 12 hour waking period i run through no less than three million emotions. “yay! a house!” “holy shit, we have a yard to mow!” “now where am i going to fit all my furniture?” “i hope to christ on a stick that our neighbors aren’t klansmen, or GASP! scientologists!” “holy shit, we don’t have a lawn mower!” just to name a few. if anyone wants to help prevent the inevitable exploding of my head please come by and help us move on the 15th and 16th. your assistance and/or xanax will be greatly appreciated.

Rest assured, the girls should be fine. They didn’t do much chasing of each other when they were all together for Thanksgiving. Just when you came to pick them up and Molly had to yell at Splendor to leave Cooper alone. If you aren’t convinced, I’ll bring you a little something so you can rest.

You guys can borrow our mower until you buy one. Oh and check out our neighborhood Sears for good deals on refurbished mowers (that’s where I got mine)!

Walmart has $89 lawnmowers. I ran into that problem when I moved. Bless my neighbor at the time who picked up on it and mowed our lawn for us when it got up to our knees because we had spent every last dime to buy the house and could not afford the lawnmower. The grass should not grow until March so you have time. It will all be over soon!

Furniture will fit great in there…I bet the cable hookup is to the left of fireplace. That will give you a nice little “reading nook” behind the couch up against those glorious windows. Fun…I can’t wait!
Oh, I don’t have a mower either. I have a guy come mow and blow leaves/debris every two weeks for $35. Can’t beat it, but if you want to do it yourself, you’ve got til Spring to find a mower. You’ll love having Sears and Home Depot a mile away.
